Overview

Nubit is a Bitcoin-secured data availability(DA) layer that enhances the ecosystem's data capacities, supporting applications like Ordinals and Layer 2s. It employs a novel consensus mechanism, NubitBFT, to accommodate a vast validator network and ensures data integrity through Data Availability Sampling (DAS). Nubit addresses the growing need for efficient data management in Bitcoin, aligning with principles of trust minimization and security.

Partnership Goals

With Nubit in our RaaS stack, rollups opting for it will get a seamless, cost-effective way to add a layer of DA. This creates a layer of transparency as well as a backup to Bitcoin, and ensures any user to freely verify transaction settlements.

Integration Details

Surge will integrate Nubit’s DA Layer into its RaaS stack. With complete access to Nubit's network and the adapters built for the sovereign SDK, we're currently working on making Nubit's DA cross compatible with our entire RaaS stack.
